Summary
We are looking for a hands-on ServiceNow delivery leader to own custom application development across our enterprise engagements. You will run the full cycle - from sprint planning through build, test, and deployment - for applications built on Agentic AI, App Engine Studio, working across multiple concurrent customers in rail, EPC, manufacturing, agriculture, and fertilizers. This is a builder's role with a leader's accountability: you will write and review code, shape the backlog, allocate the team, and stand behind what ships.
Key Responsibilities
Custom Application Development: Lead the design and delivery of custom applications on ServiceNow App Engine Studio, translating diverse business use cases into scalable, production-grade solutions.
Sprint & Delivery Ownership: Own sprint planning, backlog grooming, estimation, and resource allocation across the ServiceNow pod, with accountability for milestone and release commitments.
End-to-End Feature Delivery: Drive features through the full lifecycle - requirements, technical design, build, testing, and deployment - including UAT support and go-live readiness.
Engineering Standards: Establish and enforce code quality, scalability, reusability, and platform best practices, ensuring solutions are architected on the platform rather than delivered as bespoke one-offs.
AI Integration: Coordinate with AI and Application Developers to bring new AI-led use cases, agentic workflows, and analytics dashboards onto ServiceNow.
Multi-Customer Delivery: Manage concurrent projects across multiple customers, balancing utilisation, quality, and stakeholder expectations without compromising delivery discipline.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 10+ years in enterprise application delivery, with at least 4 years of hands-on ServiceNow implementation and a track record of leading delivery teams.
Platform Depth: Strong practical command of App Engine Studio, Flow Designer, and platform scripting - Glide API, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, and Client Scripts.
Certifications: ServiceNow CSA and CAD are required. Specialist certifications (ITSM, CSM, or App Engine) are strongly preferred.
Reporting & Analytics: Demonstrated experience building dashboards, reports, and Performance Analytics views for business stakeholders.
Delivery Leadership: Proven sprint planning and Agile team leadership, with the judgement to make trade-off calls on scope, quality, and timelines.
Stakeholder Management: Confident engaging business and technical stakeholders directly - running requirement sessions, managing expectations, and communicating status without escalation dependency.
